About me

I am a M.D. with training in reproductive medicine and a Ph.D in epidemiology and biostatistics.

My research focuses on the early life risk factors, comorbidities, long-term health impact and pharmaceutical interventions of premenstrual disorders (PMDs). This project leverages the Stress-And-Gene-Analysis (SAGA) Cohort based in Reykjavik, Iceland and multiple Swedish nationwide healthcare registers, while combining a range of epidemiological methods, such as sibling comparison and within-individual comparison. My research interests lie at womens reproductive health, the developmental origins of diseases and infertility. For instance, mothers complications during infertility treatment and risk of diseases among the offspring.
