Research description
Broadly, my research aims to understand how environmental and genetic factors contribute to autoimmune diseases risk and progression.
During my master's study, my research focused on applying novel statistical tools to understand the shared genetic architecture underlying complex diseases and traits using data from large-scale genome-wide association studies, with a focus on reproductive and metabolic diseases and traits.
I am particularly interested in applying causal inference methods in epidemiological research.
My PhD projects will mainly focus on autoimmune diseases inluding MS and RA using Swedish register data as well as genetic data.
