About me

  • I am a M.D. with training in reproductive medicine and a Ph.D in epidemiology
    and biostatistics.
    My research focuses on the early life risk factors, comorbidities, long-term
    health impact and pharmaceutical interventions of premenstrual disorders
    (PMDs). This project leverages the Stress-And-Gene-Analysis (SAGA) Cohort [1]
    based in Reykjavik, Iceland and multiple Swedish nationwide healthcare
    registers, while combining a range of epidemiological methods, such as
    sibling comparison and within-individual comparison. My research interests
    lie at women*’*s reproductive health, the developmental origins of diseases
    and infertility. For instance, mother*’*s complications during infertility
    treatment and risk of diseases among the offspring.
