About me

  • I am a first year PhD student with a molecular biology background with high interest to strengthen my computational expertise.
I have carried out my Bachelor in Biotechnology, in Perugia, Italy and then moved to Trento, Italy for my Master in Molecular Biotechnology with a thesis focusing on the dynamics of the long noncoding telomeric RNA TERRA and its interaction with the RNA binding protein RALY.
After my studies I decided to move to KI in order to continue my research in post-transcriptional regulation.

Research

  • I am passionate about RNA regulation. My aim is to understand RNA regulation and its role in human disease at molecular scale: how RNA functionality is shaped during evolution and perturbed in human disease.
