About me

  • I am a post doctoral fellow in the group Epidemiology of Psychiatric Conditions, Substance use and Social Environment (EPICSS), at the department for Global Public Health. Research

  • My research focuses around development, effects and long-term outcomes of health care intervention to prevent and treat alcohol use disorders. My main focus is on individuals with moderate severity of alcohol dependence. Moreover, I lead projects on the utilization of evidence-based treatments. I am also interested in treatment seeking for alcohol use disorders and interventions to increase treatment seeking with special focus on stigma.

Teaching

  • My teaching mainly focusses around epidemiology, prevention and treatment of alcohol use disorders. I teach at: - Clinical Psychologist program at Karolinska Institutet - Center for Psychiatry Research in Stockholm, mainly health care staff
