Research

  • My research focuses on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR)
    including family planning, access to health care, gender norms, and
    gender-based violence. I am particularly interested in how these matters are
    shaped by the social context in which individuals live, primarily in terms of
    armed conflict and other crises.
    My doctoral dissertation explored the impact of conflict on SRHR in
    Colombia. The thesis can be found here [1] and has also been published as
    a Development Dissertation Brief [2] by Expertbyrån för Biståndsanalys
    (EBA).
