Recipient of a three-year fellowship from Hellenic Atherosclerosis Society for my PhD Thesis (Thesis title: ‟Investigation of the role of coagulation factors Xa and thrombin in atherothrombosis”).

Recipient of a fellowship (15/05/18-31/12/19) from the Operational Program: Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-220 entitled “Support of researchers with emphasis on young researchers” (Partnership Agreement for the Development Framework 2014-2020 co-funded with the European Structural and Investment Funds [ESIF] of the European Union).

Awards for oral and poster presentations at Congresses organized by the Hellenic Atherosclerosis Society and the Institute of the Study and Education on Thrombosis and Antithrombotic Therapy (I.S.E.T.A.T.).

Recipient of a Young Investigator Fellowship for my participation on the 85th EAS Congress, April 23-26 2017, Prague, Czech Republic.

Recipient of Honorary Distinction awarded by the Department of Biological Applications & Technology of the University of Ioannina, in memory of Constantin Drainas, for outstanding performance during the period of my undergraduate studies.
