About me

  • I enjoy working on data from human immune systems. In my PhD project, I outline the diversity of mucosal-associated invariant T (MAIT) cells across the human body and try to understand their role in tissue homeostasis and immune defence. Before I joined Karolinska Institutet, I trained as a paramedic, then studied biochemistry at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany, with a focus on liver dysfunction and sepsis research.
