About me
I am Professor of Medical Ethics in the Stockholm Centre for Healthcare Ethics, Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME), KI.
My primary research interests include ethical issues related to patients’ perspective and decision-making, the ethics of public health, normative ethics and methodology of bioethics. Currently I am leading a group that addresses patients’ views and the ethics of precision medicine in hematology within a European consortia (the 3-year project MEET-AML, funded by ERAPerMed.
I teach at various courses on ethical issues at KI as well as for health care professionals in various disciplines.
I am also a member of the Ethics Council of Karolinska University Hospital, the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Swedish Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Assessment of Social Services (SBU), the Ethics Committee for the European research infrastructure for Personalised Medicine (EATRIS PLUS) and a project partner of the Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice in Health and Social Care in Oxford.
