About me

  • Associate Professor Vanja has a background in Nursing (RN) and Public Health
    (MPH) with PhD in Global Health from Karolinska Institutet. Vanja has a
    position as senior lecturer at the division of Caring, the Department of
    Neurobiology, Caring Science and Society (NVS) at Karolinska Institutet,
    Stockholm, Sweden. Her main field of research is Sexual and reproductive
    health and rights within and susitainable development, please see publication
    list following.
    Vanja co-ordinates a national research network about Female Genital
    Mutilation, that is part of the larger group/ Global health, Caring science
