Research

  • My research primarily focuses on understanding why individuals with neuropsychiatric conditions, such as ADHD and autism, are at a higher risk of developing debilitating neurodegenerative conditions like ALS and Parkinson's as they age.

    I have a background in epidemiology, statistics and causal inference. My doctoral thesis addressed the benefits and harms of antiseizure medication use during pregnancy, using registry-based pharmacoepidemiological surveillance and causal modeling.

    In addition to this, I am involved in studies on preschoolers' health, cardiovascular epidemiology, and the development of causal inference methods.
