About me
I am a postdoc in translational psychiatry. Having both a clinical and a molecular biology background, I am very interested in translating basic genetic and neuroscience findings into clinical psychiatry. The main disorders I am working on are bipolar disorder and anorexia nervosa. We have close collaborations with physicians at the psychiatry department (Psykiatri Sydväst) of Huddinge University Hospital.
Education
I studied medicine at the Medical University of Vienna and the Université Paris Descartes, where I also did a Master 1 in Cell biology and pathyphysiology. From 2015 to 2020, I did my PhD with Martin Schalling and Catharina Lavebratt, entitled Translational Studies on Bipolar Disorder and Anorexia Nervosa.
