About me
Licensed clinical psychologist working at the Centre for Psychiatry Research since August 2022. I have previously worked as a research assistant at the Wellcome Centre for Human Neuroimaging, the Clinical Psychopharmacology Unit and the Centre for Outcomes Research and Effectiveness, all at University College London.
Research description
I am interested in the neural correlates of emotion regulation, novel avenues to augment psychological interventions, and mechanisms of treatment effects. For my psychologist degree thesis I joined Emily Holmes' lab at KI, investigating the effect of a simple cognitive task (involving Tetris gameplay) on intrusive memories after psychological trauma. I have previously completed an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL and my degree thesis there investigated possible synergistic effects of pharmacological and psychological interventions.
