About me
I am a Ph.D. student studying with Dr. Marie-Stephanie Aschtgen on bacterial genotoxins and their impact on host inflammatory response in the gut. I trained with Drs. Cynthia Sears, Stephanie Hicks, and Jessica Queen at Johns Hopkins, studying enterotoxigenic Bacteroides fragilis in novel CRC model animals before coming to Karolinska.
Previously, I received my undergraduate degrees in international affairs and molecular and cellular biology from the George Washington University where I worked in Dr. Xiaoyan Zheng’s lab and studied novel tumor suppressors in NSCLC.
