My research builds on life course epidemiology and focuses on how risk factors in early life (e.g., parental socioeconomic and health conditions, perinatal health) influence future health and health inequalities over the life course and across generations. Currently, I am working with Dr. Neda Razaz on a project aiming to investigate the role of maternal cardiovascular diseases in the developmental origins of long-term offspring health outcomes.
