About me

I am an Associate Professor in Global Health at Karolinska Institutet. I have worked on different diseases and in different contexts. Also I am engaged in different projects related to Research Capacity Building. My research work includes injuries, non-communicable diseases and infectious diseases. Also I have a big interest in mHealth.

Research description

Epidemiology and Global Health. Research interests include infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, mHealth and injuries.

Teaching portfolio

I teach Research Methods, Global Health, mHealth, Public Health Surveillance, Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Non-Communicable Diseases and Injuries Epidemiology. In addition to being active in research capacity building in low- and income-countries.

2011-2013: Postdoc fellow, Cancer Epidemiology, McGill University (I worked on HPV vaccination and cervical cancer)
