I am an Associate Professor in Global Health at Karolinska Institutet. I have worked on different diseases and in different contexts. Also I am engaged in different projects related to Research Capacity Building. My research work includes injuries, non-communicable diseases and infectious diseases. Also I have a big interest in mHealth.
Epidemiology and Global Health. Research interests include infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, mHealth and injuries.
I teach Research Methods, Global Health, mHealth, Public Health Surveillance, Infectious Diseases Epidemiology and Non-Communicable Diseases and Injuries Epidemiology. In addition to being active in reseach capacity building in low- and income-countries.
2011: PhD, Epidemiology and Global Health (it was part of an international collaboration between KI-Stockholm, Stanford University-California and the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) in Johannesburg).
