Three-year plan for courses within the doctoral programmes

To facilitate planning for KI’s doctoral students and postdocs, a compilation has been made of the doctoral programmes’ planned courses for the next three years. The plan is updated once a year.

Courses are one form of learning activities for doctoral students and KI postdocs offered by the doctoral programmes within their respective research fields. To receive information about and participate in other learning activities (retreats, symposia, seminars, etc.), sign up for one or more programmes to receive continuous information.

All courses that are given within the framework of the doctoral programmes, with a few exceptions, are advertised in and applied for through the course catalogue.

Doctoral students and KI postdocs are free to apply to participate in the courses offered in agreement with one's supervisor or principal investigator.

The syllabi for the courses in the list can be found in Fubas (KI login needed).  An X in the list means that a course occasion is planned that particular semester.

Please note that the courses in the compilation above refer to the doctoral education programmes' long-term planning and is subject to change: courses might be organised a different semester, and titles, course numbers, course leaders and credits might change. Sometimes the course will not be offered anymore, and new courses might be added. Courses that may be offered on demand are presented on the respective pages of the doctoral programmes.

Courses offered during the current and upcoming semester can be found in the course catalogue or on the page for course vacancies.

Doctoral courses are also arranged within research schools
