Welcome Chris Bengtsson!

What is your mission at NVS?/What will you be working with?

I will work as an administrative coordinator for three activities and support the directors in organizing, administer and follow up on activities.

Which division will you be working at?

I will work with the Programme for Doctoral Education in Health Care Sciences (PUF-V), the Research School in Health Sciences (FiH) and with the Strategic Research Area Health Care Sciences (SFO-V) at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society (NVS).

What do you look forward to the most in your new position?

I look forward to becoming a part of NVS and KI but also to learn more about PUF-V's, FiH's and SFO-V's activities. It will also be fun to get to know new work colleagues and partners.

Where have you been active before and what have you done earlier?

I come from the International Science Programme (ISP) at Uppsala University where I worked as an administrator for two research programs. Previously, I have worked with purchasing at a private company.

When you are not working, what do you do for recreation?

Exercising at the gym, travelling, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Are you reading a book at the moment? Which one?

I'm reading The Crippled God by Steven Eriksson and Sweden's Long History by Jonathan Lindström.

Tell us about the most beautiful place you have visited

At the glacier lake Jökulsárlón in Iceland and around Debre Zeyit in the Oromia Region in Ethiopia.

What makes you happy?

I love outdoor cold water swimming!
