What is your mission at NVS?/What will you be working with?

I am going to work as a PhD student in a research project led by David Moulaee Conradsson, aimed at improving health and well-being through a digital telehealth rehabilitation program, for persons affected by stroke or TIA.

Which division will you be working at?

At the Division of Physiotherapy.

What do you look forward to the most in your new position?

I am excited to learn more about different parts of the research process, and gain deeper knowledge within my research area. I also look forward to work together with a group of dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues.

Where have you been active before and what have you done earlier?

I have worked as a physiotherapist for 15 years in Nyköping, mainly with older persons and dementia. In addition to that, I have experience with improvement work and implementation of quality registers.

When you are not working, what do you do for recreation?

I like to spend time time outdoors with my family. Right now, during the fall, we pick a lot of mushrooms and berries.

Are you reading a book at the moment? Which one?

I am between books at them moment, I just finished The Velvet Hours by Alyson Richman. An interesting look into another time.

Tell us about the most beautiful place you have visited

There are many beautiful places in Sweden, if I have to choose, I will say the Nyköping archipelago.

What makes you happy?

Rain – it is so dry out in the woods and the grounds, our nature needs water. I also love the smell of wet asphalt, and to come inside after being out in a rainstorm.
