What is your mission at NVS?/What will you be working with?

I will be working with in vitro autoradiography and PET radiotracers targeting astrocyte reactivity in Alzheimer’s disease.

Which division will you be working at?

The Division of Clinical Geriatrics.

What do you look forward to the most in your new position? 

Collaborative works with great scientists at KI and other universities.

Where have you been active before and what have you done earlier?

I just finished my PhD in biochemistry at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, in Brazil

When you are not working, what do you do for recreation?

I like to play football, to be in contact with nature and playing with Chumbo, my dog.

Are you reading a book at the moment? Which one?

Yes, Madame Curie: a biography.

Tell us about the most beautiful place you have visited?

The most beautiful place is Grêmio’s stadium (the football team I support in Brazil) when it’s full of supporters.

What makes you happy?

Being close to people I love, doing experiments in the lab and, of course, playing with Chumbo.
