What is your mission at NVS?/What will you be working with?

I am a PhD student working on a project focusing on dementia care utilisation in Weili Xu's group.

Which division will you be working at?

I am working at the Aging Research Center (ARC).

What do you look forward to the most in your new position?

I am looking forward to developing my research skills in geriatric epidemiology, especially learning new methodologies. I am also excited to get to know colleagues in the research group and department.  

Where have you been active before and what have you done earlier?

I have a nursing background in Japan. I also completed a master's degree in Public Health Epidemiology at KI.

When you are not working, what do you do for recreation?

I like to work out at the gym, especially in winter. Otherwise, I spend my free time watching F1 races during the racing season.

Tell us about the most beautiful place you have visited

There are so many places that have impressed me with their beautiful nature, but Tyrona National Park in Colombia is my favorite.

What makes you happy?

Good food 😊
