I am a PhD student in Professor Catarina Almqvist Malmros research group in combination with clinical work as an intern physician at Danderyd’s Hospital.
My PhD studies focus on the comorbidity, causes and consequences of asthma and type 1 diabetes in children, combining nationwide Swedish healthcare-, quality-, and twin registers, while using a range of epidemiological methods, such as family-based design. Other research interests lie at the intersection of pediatrics, obstetrics, anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, for instance drug utilization and safety during pregnancy and risk factors or outcomes of adverse perinatal events. Additional professional interests include medical education; I am involved in mentoring medical students and teaching of medical science/scientific development in the medical programme.
