About me

I am an experienced researcher and educator with a broad knowledge and understanding of public health and a particular interest in Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Health Economics. I have focused on the use of spatial analysis and statistical methods in conducting research. I have extensive experience of data-linkage including use of national administrative datasets. I have used my background in economics to model the financial impacts of interventions and programmes.

Autism epidemiology and the socio-demographic determinants of health.

Teaching

I have a post graduate certificate in tertiary education and over ten years teaching and education management experience.
Whilst based in New Zealand I (remotely) tutored students in South-East Asia on a WHO One Health Masters in Bio-security.
I also have experience in supervision of Masters students.
I was recently a Teaching Assistant Longitudinal Analysis short course at Karolinska Institute (November 2023).
