The focus of my research projects within the research group at the Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, Division of Physiotherapy at Karolinska Institutet (KI) is on musculoskeletal pain and outcomes of clinical interventions to improve prevention and patient management. This includes development and evaluation of clinical diagnostics and prevention methods with the aim to improve health and work ability among persons suffering from low-back pain. The long-term goal is to develop and challenge existing knowledge, and implement updated treatment programs in primary care concerning LBP.

I am also part of the MUSIC group at the Institute of Environmental Medicine (IMM) conducting epidemiological studies on The Stockholm Public Health Cohort.
