About me

I am a PhD student at Medical Management Centre since 2012. I have a masters degree in work and organizational psychology from Umeå University and I have worked as a research assistant at several different national research institutes (Swedish Defence Research Institute, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute) and universities (Umeå university, Karolinska Insitutet) before I started my doctoral education.

I am also a member of the SOLIID (Sustainable Organizational Learning, Innovation, Improvement and Development in Health and Social services) research group at the Medical Management Centre.

Research description

My main research interest is how change in complex systems can be achieved. I am currently involved in an on-going evaluation project of a large-scale national improvement program commissioned by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR). The improvement program is based on an agreement between SALAR and the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs (MHSA) and aims to improve the quality and coordination of care for the most ill older people. I study strategies for facilitating implementation on national and regional levels.
