About me

I received my MSc in Biomedical Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam in 2020. During my MSc, I specialized in Immunology and Neurobiology and gained interest in neurodegenerative diseases. From 2020 till 2022, I worked at a BioTech company focused on gene-therapy in hereditary (CNS) diseases. As a PhD student in the Williams lab, I will be working on models of neurodegeneration and mitochondrial dysfunction in C. elegans and studying the genetics of NAD in neurodegeneration and -protection.
