blended learning degree programmes (M Clin Dent Impl, Australia) to full time
three-year intensive residencies (MDS Impl Dent, Hong Kong). His leadership
has been instrumental in the development of global guidelines for the
teaching and assessment of Implant Dentistry, having organised 3 Consensus
Workshops in the teaching and Learning of Implant Dentistry (2 European in
2008 and 2013 and one Australian 2010), while he has contributed to several
other international consortia for the improvement of teaching and learning.
While in the University of Hong Kong (2012-2020) he served as the

which included a 3-year full-time residency programme (MDS) and a 2 year part
time degree (MSc). His teaching extended to a variety of formats and media,
from seminars, clinical supervision, problem-based learning, clinical and
research mentoring, live surgery sessions, case-based learning, on-line
modules, sim-lab preclinical training and more. His responsibilities as
curriculum designer and manager have included curriculum and assessment

addition, the course achieved an extraordinarily high percentage of
certificate acquisition. The MOOC has as of today enrolled more than 50, 000
students and received a Honorable Mention in the 2017 Greater China MOOC
