Bibliometric analyst at the University Library and PhD student at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME).
I work as bibliometric analyst at the University Library and I am a PhD student at the Health Informatics Centre (HIC) at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME).
As analyst I conduct bibliometric analyses of the publication output of Karolinska Institutet, for example by creating collaboration networks, calculating citation indicators or by subject mapping. I work with data extraction from the bibliometric system at KI, containing Web of Science and Pubmed data.
In my PhD project I contribute to the development of algorithmic publication-level classifications. The project focus on how to make such classifications interpretable and meaningful, e.g. by creating classifications with a theoretically grounded granularity and by developing methods for labeling of obtained classes. The ambition of the project is to improve methods for creation of multi-leveled classifications so that such classifications can be used for analysis of research activities and in search systems.
