Labmed’s redeployment of localities within ANA Futura
In autumn 2023, the Division of Biomolecular & Cellular Medicine (BCM) will move into ANA Futura. For this to be possible, a relocation and condensation of Labmed in ANA Futura's premises will be required. On this page you can read more about plans and implementation of the relocation process.

The goal of the relocation process is to achieve more efficient use of the premises, create better synergies between the groups and to create a more active and vibrant research environment.
Robert Månsson and Sophia Godau are appointed coordinators for the project and report to Head of Department Jonas Fuxe.

For you who will move into ANA Futura
Your colleagues in ANA Futura look forward to having more from Labmed in our premises! We hope you are as excited as we are.
What is happening now?
- During May, the coordinators have meetings with the relevant divisions to try to create a view of the needs and wishes of the existing divisiona and the new research groups, as well as the use of the premises.
- On June 15, there will be an information meeting about the move and a social gathering. See the invitation in your Outlook calendar.
- After completed meetings with the relevant departments, the next step is to meet with all the new groups to gather various information needed before the move. This work will probably begin in June.
For you who will change from one room to another in ANA Futura
In order for the new research groups to be able to move in and have space, a redeployment of Labmed's current premises in ANA Futura is required. Everyone simply has to help each other to make this possible. It is positive for Labmed that more people at the department can gather in the same building and we are also bringing in additional research groups with new skills in ANA Futura.

- After completed meetings with the relevant divisions, a plan is made of what the move will look like and where new collaboration spaces can be created and an efficient distribution of premises. When we know how the move must be organized, the relevant research group leaders will be contacted to agree on details of where the move will take place and how.
