New as Manager at KI

The program is aimed at all new managers at KI with delegated, or shortly to be delegated, managerial responsibility. The program is hosted by the University Administration and the authority-specific themes like law, finance, purchasing etc. are offered in a mixture of psychical modules and webinars, both in Swedish and in English.

KI Internal research-oriented management and leadership training courses

Leadership for research group leaders.

The program is given in English and aims to support our promising research group leaders in their development to become successful research group leaders who can lead colleagues towards a competitive research vision.

Internal Management and Leadership Programs

The programs are given in “Swenglish.” Meaning that participants need to understand Swedish (governmental language) but can communicate in English.

KI:s Higher Leadership Program (KIHLP)

The President at KI hosts KIHLP, which is a recurring and mandatory program for prefects, pro-prefects, administrative heads, department heads at UF and operational managers. This program is organized by KI's leadership and organizational development function, LOD.

Future Academic Leaders (FAL) In-house program

One or more Departments together can organize FAL for their academic managers and teachers. The aim is to identify, support and develop academic leaders for the own department and for KI-wide assignments. The target group is academic managers and leaders within the host institution(s). This program is organized in partnership with KI's leadership and organizational development function, LOD.

Middle Management Program, MCP

The university director hosts MCP, which is a recurring program for middle managers at UF, KM, KIB, UoL, Core Facility and Lab Managers as well as middle managers of administrative functions at the Departments. This program is organized in partnership with KI:s leadership and organizational development function, LOD.
