User surveys for core facilities

Surveys directed at users are a tool for the continuous development of the core facilities at Karolinska Institutet (KI) and to ensure the highest quality and relevance for KI’s researchers.

The vision of Karolinska Institutet – advancing knowledge about life and strive towards better health for all – requires an increasing focus on cutting-edge technology and functional research infrastructure, where core facilities play an important role.

As part of the ongoing effort to continuously develop core facilities at KI and ensure the highest quality and relevance for KI’s researchers, KI’s infrastructure Board has decided to conduct an open survey. The survey has previously been conducted in 2025, 2021 and 2023.

Earlier surveys

In the fall of 2021, an open survey aimed at users of core facilities, was conducted on behalf of the Infrastructure Board (formerly known as the lnfrastructure Council). In the fall of 2023, a follow-up open survey was conducted. To follow the development over time, the results of the 2023 survey are compared with the results of the survey conducted in 2021.
