Thereafter, crisis management should be contacted and initiated.
In the event of an accident or serious incident, also contact your manager and someone from the local crisis management team.
Local crisis management team
A member of the local crisis management team assists with the activation of crisis leadership and supports the handling of the current situation.
The local crisis management team is supported by a group consisting of the HR manager and communications officer, as well as representatives of researchers, doctoral students, and students in BioClinicum and SciLifeLab. The department's crisis management follows KI's shared crisis handling routines.
In each research group, the research group leader is responsible for ensuring that all employees are familiar with the crisis plan and know where to find it.
For crisis management related to students enrolled in courses where the department does not have program responsibility, the director of studies/course responsible teacher holds the initial responsibility. The medical program has its own crisis management plan available on its program webpage.
