Karolinska Institutet - Region Stockholm Clinical research school in molecular medicine, 2024-2026

Karolinska Institutet (KI) and Region Stockholm invite applications for the clinical research school in molecular medicine, 2024–2026, a doctoral course program in research methodology with a focus on translational laboratory research for clinical staff.

The course curriculum includes courses in basic science methodology as well as courses in translational medicine, covering both theory and practice. Each course period is 4 weeks, with one period per semester for two years, in total 16 weeks.

The course program that is to be followed in its entirety is adapted to the General Curriculum for doctoral education at Karolinska Institutet (KI). In addition, the program contains courses in subjects that are relevant to most clinical research areas. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the aim is that the participants should also gain a broad understanding of many of the methods and techniques that are used in clinical experimental research. Several of the courses includes practicals and demos of analytical techniques, with teachers/scientists from several of the departments at KI, as well as scientists from SciLifeLab and other universities.

A list of all courses in the clinical research school in molecular medicine is found in the documents section at the end of this page.
