Seminars at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition
At the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition we host three different seminar series; The Chairman's Seminar Series, the BioNut Seminar Series and our Internal Seminars, which we run together with NVS.
The Chairman's Seminar Series is a seminar series that aims to highlight selected top scientists at Karolinska Institutet and other universities in Sweden. It is designed to specially promote female scientists in order to increase their visibility and to work towards a more equal gender balance in leading positions. These seminars are usually organised 1-2 times a year and are open for all students and staff at Karolinska Institutet.
The BioNut Seminar Series is a seminar series where the different group leaders at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition invite and host seminars on various Thursdays throughout the year. The seminars are open for anyone interested.
The BioNut/NVS Internal Seminars (below) is a seminar series where the PhD students and Postdocs from the different labs at BioNut and NVS present their work for 15 minutes each. They are usually organised 4-6 times/semester. These seminars are also open for people working in Neo and for students at the Departments.
