Work environment training for managers and or equivalent with work environment responsibilities
The Central HR Office in cooperation with Property and Facilities Office offers compulsory courses in work environment for managers, supervisors and safety representatives at KI. The courses must be repeated every 5 years according to the Rector's decision.
For managers or equivalent staff with delegated personnel responsibilities and or health and safety tasks
Systematic Work Environment Management - Module 1
The course aims to provide basic knowledge in systematic work environment management to ensure that delegated work environment tasks maintain a good quality, and where you who have a delegation find sufficient competence to conduct a well-functioning work environment management.
Organisational and Social Work Environment - Module 2
The course aims to provide basic knowledge in organisational and social aspects of the work environment, especially regarding workload, working hours and victimisation. The course also briefly addresses work environment situations such as conflicts, discrimination and harassment.
Laboratory Safety - Module 3
The course includes a basic review of legislation, procedures, guidelines and tools as well as risk assessment, protective measures and waste management.
For safety representatives at KI
Work Environment Training program for safety representatives
The course is aimed at new, prospective or current safety representatives at KI. The course is arranged in collaboration with KI's safety organisation and the University Administration. Among other things, you will be introduced to the basics of Swedish work environment legislation, the employer's responsibility, health promotion and the role and power of the safety representative.
