Nikon ECLIPSE E1000 upright fluorescent microscope
The LCI core facility is selling a functioning Nikon ECLIPSE E1000 upright widefield fluorescent microscope (with the computer).
It is a manual microscope equipped with Hamamtsu C4742-80-12AG monocolor cooled camera (-30 degree), 1344x1024 pixel, pixel size 6.45 um.
There are 4 objectives included: 1x air (NA 0.04), 10x air (NA 0.45), 20x air (NA 0.75), and 40x air (NA 0.95). The spring in the 40x air objective sometimes gets stuck and needs to be serviced.
There are 3 filter cubes installed in the microscope:
Cube 1 (Blue): Ex: 360/40; DM: 400LP; Em: 450/50;
Cube 2 (Green): Ex: 480/30; DM: 505LP; Em: 535/40;
Cube 3 (Red): Ex: 546/10; DM: 575LP; Em: 590LP.
It uses the Nikon Mercury lamp as the light source.
This system was fully functional until it was decommissioned.
