Arrange a webinar
A webinar is an online seminar or lecture. There are different tools you can choose from, depending on the features you need to have access to.
What is a webinar?
A webinar is an online seminar, talk or panel discussion with a large audience. The audience usually doesn’t have to interact with one another.
Webinar tools
You can choose from different tools, depending on which features you need to have access to. In many cases, such as public defences, a regular Zoom meeting is sufficient.
Teams live events
You can set up a webinar with Microsoft Teams. This feature is called a live event. This feature is included with Microsoft Teams that you access to through your Office 365 account if you are employed with KI.

Zoom
For meetings with up to 300 attendees, a regular Zoom meeting might fit your need. For a public defence, you can change the settings to reduce the risk of distractions.
Tips for safe meetings in Zoom
If neither Teams Live Event nor a Zoom meeting works, you can purchase a license for Zoom Webinars. Up to 1000 people can join your Zoom webinar. You can purchase the license in the ordering portal Wisum. The license is bound to one user, valid for one year and costs 600 SEK.
