Theme and programme
This year's Educational Congress unfolds across three subthemes, each offering insights into the nature of education: Human dimensions, Relationship between technology and humanity, and Methodologies and approaches.

Speakers and workshops
Gabrielle Finn
Professor Gabrielle Finn is Associate Vice-President for Teaching, Learning and Students at the University of Manchester. Her session will consider "The Human Touch: Integrating Humanities into Healthcare teaching and research" and how these humanities approaches can foster empathy, enhance observational skills, and contribute to a more holistic approach to healthcare.
You can also participate in Gabrielle's workshop: "An introduction to the use of art based approaches in the classroom".
Art, humanities and health professions education
We offer two practical workshops on how art and humanities can be used in health professions education: "Using drawings to activate our learners and to connect learning with previous knowledge and the subconscious" and "How to use visual arts in learning".
The workshops are led by Lucy Glendinning and Jonas Nordquist.
