What is your role at NVS?

I work at the Department of Aging Research Center (ARC) as an administrator. My work is mainly focused on HR administration, expenses and fees, and coordinating internal and external board meetings.

What's the best thing about your job here?

I agree with the most common answers to this question: variation in job assignments! I also find it interesting to follow the work at the division within different research projects, even though I am not personally involved in that particular area.

What is important to you in the workplace? What do you need to thrive?

To have good colleagues is naturally a foundation, that’s why I enjoy coming back to the office after the pandemic. I like that I can plan and execute part of my work independently, a bit of freedom with responsibility is important for me to be able to grow.

What is your background? Where are you from?

I have a degree as a social worker, and have also worked in recruiting before starting at KI.

What do you do to relax in your spare time?

It depends on the season, as the energy levels vary. During fall and winter I mostly cosy up at home, in the spring and summer there are more outdoor activities and weekend outings. I like to travel abroad, but also to take a Swedish road trip.

What is the best thing that has happened to you?

I met my husband and we finally got married in the summer of 2021 (postponed due to the pandemic). It is the best thing to happen yet, but we will se what the future brings...
