Search service (Google Programmable Search)

Here you can read about how the search service on the website ki.se works and who you can contact if you need help with findability for your content.

The Search function on our website ki.se is based on Google Programmable Search. Your search term will be sent to Google who will return hits from Google's index, but limited to sites with a domain name ending on ki.se. 

The search solution has not worked properly since summer 2024. On our campuses, the search function goes down during the morning. For anyone searching outside KI's campus, it still works very well.

Attempts to solve this with Google's help have not been successful and the web administration will therefore implement another solution.

Temporary workarounds

  1. If you don't get any results, we have added a link under the search box which takes you to Google’s regular search with delimitation for ki.se.
  2. Perform a regular Google search and add KI at the end, for example: “working hours ki”
  3. Search via this link: https://www.google.com/search?q=site:ki.se&oq=site:ki.se
