Individual Career Planning and Career Transition program
Proactive Restructuring
KC Group has been contracted as a provider of career development services. The services aim to support employees and managers during career transitions, promote career development, and contribute to the individual’s professional growth. According to the local collective agreement on restructuring funds, it is important to think long-term when it comes to changes in the workplace. The focus is on being proactive and planning for the future by adapting the business to needs, changes in skills, organisation, number of employees, or new employment forms. One of the measures that may receive financial support is an individual career planning program and career transition program through KC Group.
KC Group Career Development Services
The program starts with an initial introductory interview, where you and a coach go over your situation, needs, goals, and future plans. Once completed, the program is tailored to suit you.
Our Newstart career program offers a ‘Basic - Career Planning Program’, which comprises of six individual meetings with a career coach over three months, including an introductory session, work materials, and digital tools. You, as a participant, also have the option of a shorter program ‘Light - Career Planning Program’, which comprises of three-session program including an introductory session, work materials, and digital tools. However, please note that you cannot later extend it to six meetings using central funds.
Additionally, there is the option to book extra individual coaching sessions if needed, at the cost of your local department, provided they agree. Meetings are held at KC Group’s premises in Stockholm, however they also offer a digital meeting solution.

You as an employee can approach Avonova occupational health directly without asking your manager, for support with work-related health problems (problems that may be related to your ability to work and the demands that your work makes). We would also like you to contact Avonova for consultation about your physical and mental health for preventive purposes. For example, if you want support to get started with a physical activity but are unsure about your fitness and issues that may affect you. Occupational health collaborates with health care at KI and can issue a prescription for physical activity.
If you need medical care that is not considered to be work-related, you should contact your regular family doctor.
If the need is urgent, it is emergency care or 112 that you should contact.
