The guidelines cover the following flags:

  • The Swedish flag
  • Flags of other nations
  • The UN and EU flags
  • Flags representing Swedish national minorities
  • KI’s own flags

The Property Management Unit (FA) is responsible for ensuring flag displays follow official flag day regulations and these guidelines. The property owner is responsible for maintaining flagpoles and ropes. FA is responsible for purchasing and storing KI and Swedish flags, and for acquiring or renting other flags for state visits or similar occasions. FA is also responsible for replacing or repairing worn flags when possible.
