Karolinska Institutet's Educational Congress 2026

Welcome to KI Educational Congress - a space to share, discuss and discover.

The congress is a Nordic meeting place for those involved in or interested in medical education research and health professions education. The congress offers two full days of lectures, workshops and activities on pedagogy and health professions education.

7–8 October, Campus Solna, Karolinska Institutet.

Call for scholarship abstracts

Welcome to submit your abstract for those who are teachers/clinical supervisor and want to share best practices.

Please note that you need to fill out this form in one go, it is not possible to save the form for later completion.
Workshop: 60–90 minutes. Max 350 words.
Short communication: Oral presentation of 10–15 minutes. Max 250 words. 

Deadline for submission is May 30.

Welcome to submit an abstract to present a Research poster. Please note that abstracts may be submitted in either English or Swedish and must be presented in the language used for submission.

The deadline for submission is June 21.

Registration fee for participants is 2000 SEK (excluding VAT).

Registration is free of charge for the following:

- Staff employed and affiliated at Karolinska Institutet 
- Student/Doctoral student at Karolinska Institutet
- Staff employed at Region Stockholm
- Private healthcare providers with a care agreement with Region Stockholm or through municipalities with collaboration agreement with KI
- Stockholm Trio staff (KTH or Stockholm university)

About the Educational Congress

KI's Education Congress is organised by the unit for teaching and learning, on behalf of the Committee for Higher Education and the Committee for Doctoral Education.
