The Core Facility Management (CFM) system at Karolinska Institutet is called iLab. iLab is a web-based software tool designed to support operations for core facilities and shared resource facilities. Its functionality includes calendars for reserving specific resources, access control for equipment, cost-tracking against projects, ordering of services and invoicing.

iLab licence
The iLab software is owned by Agilent. It is used by KI's core facilities to manage bookings and invoicing. Licences may be provided for other operations or activities (i.e. departments, freezer facilities, individual instruments, etc.) under a common umbrella.
