NVS crisis group

NVS crisis group consists of Head of Department, Head of Administration and Head of HR. The group is purposefully small to be able to gather and act quickly in case of emergency.

The crisis group is activated in the event of an incident that significantly affects employees, students and operations. The crisis group works both preventively and in the event of a crisis. Examples of preventive measures include identifying potential risks (e.g., security risks) and planning for the management of these risks in collaboration with KI central crisis organization.

NVS staffing plan for crisis situations is continuously updated and available at P:\H1 NVS\Krishantering.

The NVS crisis group is responsible for:

  • leading crisis management efforts and making decisions regarding necessary actions
  • establishing a situational overview
  • developing an action plan for how the crisis should be handled
  • leading, planning, updating, informing, and following up on the situational overview, as well as ensuring that decided actions are implemented
  • coordinating and maintaining contact with occupational health services, student health services, and other authorities and organizations
  • informing KI central crisis organization and KI Press Office for any coordinated communication efforts with the KI Communications and Public Relations Office
  • acting on decisions made by the KI central crisis organization
