Order Catering

Nordrest (Högskolerestauranger) has actively begun providing comprehensive delivery for all areas of KI since January 1st and has full responsibility for all Catering for our operations at KI since January 19th as follows.

Order catering

Areas covered by new restaurateur Nordrest (Högskolerestauranger) and catering as below:

  • SÖS (catering Syd)
  • Flemingsberg (catering Syd)
  • Danderyd (catering Nord)
  • KI catering Solna (catering Nord)
  • Campus KI Solna (restauranger + catering)

The new agreements will come into effect as follows:

  • Campus KI Solna - start 1 januari 2026
  • Catering Syd - start 19 januari 2026
  • Catering Nord - start 17 januari 2026 

Campus KI Solna:
KI Campus Solna refers to institutions and the operations within the campus area bounded by Solnavägen / Tomtebodavägen / Berzelius väg / Von Eulers väg.

Catering Nord:
Institutions operating in the Karolinska University Hospital Solna, outside the KI Campus Solna area. and KI Danderyd Hospital. Institutional group KI Nord (linked page only in Swedish)

Catering South:
Institutions active in Karolinska University Hospital Huddinge, Campus Flemingsberg and Södersjukhuset. Institutional group KI Syd (linked page only in Swedish)

Types of catering

Coffee Break

Light refreshments such as rolls, baguettes, buns, cookies, and fruit, as well as coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks. 

  • Order by 12 pm the day before delivery.
  • You should receive confirmation between 8 am and 5 pm on the same day. For late orders, you should receive confirmation by 9 am the following day.

Basic catering

For example, hot or cold lunch, salad, buffet, cocktail snacks, drinks, coffee with accessories, and fruit. 

  • Order at least three non-holiday weekdays before delivery, for groups of 31 people or more, five non-holiday weekdays before.
  • You should receive confirmation between 8 am and 5 pm on the same day. For late orders, you should receive confirmation by 9 am the following day.

Fine catering

For example, fine lunch, buffet, cocktail snacks, and three-course dinner, drinks (including alcoholic beverages), coffee with accessories, and fruit. 

  • Order at least seven non-holiday weekdays before delivery, for groups of 16 people or more, ten non-holiday weekdays before.
  • You should receive an order confirmation within three working days after placing your order.

Large Events

For 40 people or more. Includes staff, food, drinks (including alcoholic beverages), tables and chairs, table setting, tableware, and service, etc. 

  • Order at least fourteen non-holiday weekdays before delivery.
  • You should receive an order confirmation within three working days after placing your order.
