Licence coordinators at the departments
A licence function at the IT Office administers software under KI's central agreements. However, some departments have local licence coordinators whom you can contact if you have any questions or need help with orders.
KI's management of software licences
The licensing function at the IT office administers software under KI's central agreements. The Licencing function acts as an advisory function on licence management and Software Asset Management (SAM) issues. SAM aims to create organizational, functional, financial, legal, and secure control over KI's software assets.
This includes software, licences, licence agreements and service agreements for cloud services. Questions to the Licensing function can always be asked via KI Self Service.
