Allocation of funding 2025
The Committee for Research has on March 30 2026, decided on the allocation of the funding for ten Consolidator grants for researchers already employed by KI. The applicants that have been awarded with funding and approved publication of their name on the website are listed below in alphabetical order.
The awarded candidates for the Consolidator grant are:

- Juan Du, Institutionen för mikrobiologi, tumör och cellbiologi
- Carolina Hagberg, Institutionen för medicin, Huddinge
- Federico Iovino, Institutionen för neurovetenskap
- Bennie Lemmens, Institutionen för medicinsk biokemi och biofysik
- Davide Liborio Vetrano, Institutionen för neurobiologi, vårdvetenskap och samhälle
- Silvia Maioli, Institutionen för neurobiologi, vårdvetenskap och samhälle
- Carl Sellgren Majkowitz, Institutionen för fysiologi och farmakologi
- Onur Parlak, Institutionen för medicin, Solna
- Federico Pietrocola, Institutionen för cell- och molekylärbiologi
The awarded candidates, who were selected from 89 qualified applicants, will receive up to 1.2 million SEK per year over five years to be used for own salary. Up to 50 percent may be used for research related costs.
