Allocation of funding 2025
The Committee for Research has on March 30 2026, decided on the allocation of the funding for ten Consolidator grants for researchers already employed by KI. The applicants that have been awarded with funding and approved publication of their name on the website are listed below in alphabetical order.
The awarded candidates for the Consolidator grant are:

- Juan Du, Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology
- Carolina Hagberg, Department of Medicine, Solna
- Federico Iovino, Department of Neuroscience
- Bennie Lemmens, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics
- Davide Liborio Vetrano, Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society
- Silvia Maioli, Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society
- Carl Sellgren Majkowitz, Department of Physiology and Pharmacology
- Onur Parlak, Department of Medicine, Solna
- Federico Pietrocola, Department of Cell and Molecular Biology
The awarded candidates, who were selected from 89 qualified applicants, will receive up to 1.2 million SEK per year over five years to be used for own salary. Up to 50 percent may be used for research related costs.
