Courses in the Safety and security area

KI offers training in several security areas for employees and students, with the aim of ensuring that KI is a safe and secure place for both employees, students and visitors.

Security includes both physical and local security.

We offer training in the following areas.

Biosafety

No course planed at the moment.

Firesafety

Fire safety training has been procured in order to be able to offer the number of courses needed to meet KI’s needs. From autumn 2017, the Environment and Security Unit has centrally organized several courses that can be booked for you as a KI employee. You are responsible for your own booking/cancellation of the course date for "Basic Fire Education", paid by the Environment and Security Unit.

Workshop KLARA Risk Assessment

NOTE! This workshop is aimed at staff who already has worked with risk assessments in KLARA. In the workshop, participants bring their own questions and cases.

Training for work with allergenic chemical products 2025 

The training is aimed for employees who lead work or work with certain allergenic substances according to AFS 2023:10 Chapter 8, Section 7. More information and which substances this applies to on KI:s Staff Portal under Chemical safety and Special requirements for allergenic chemical products.

Due to staffing changes, no courses will be offered during the Autumn 2025. The next course is planned for Spring 2026. Exact dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
